The power of choice.

Getting to Know yourself is a matter of choice . Stephen Covey once said " Until  a man can say deeply and honestly, I'm what I am because of the choices I made yesterday; that person cannot say I chose otherwise". 

I have learnt from life that  we can't blame anybody for the type of choice we make. The choice you make could be catabolic or anabolic. The type of  choice you make has the ability to make you or break you down into pieces. Making a right choice has constructive effects on you and doing the opposite can be destructive. You fail to realise that you are directly responsible for the type of choice you make and the result that accompanies it. Your sense of responsibility has been swept to the waste bin to the point that you often blame other people for your inefficiencies, faults and inaccuracies. It doesn't matter or make sense to you to take responsibility for your actions- but you take consolation in shifting the blame on other people. The problem will keep mounting up if you fail to accept that it is your duty to develop a sense of responsibility with a dauntless heroism.

In an era where opportunities are limitless, people still make choices that render them faged-out. They become miserable, rejected, frustrated and dejected. It is difficult for them to make up with the choices they have made. This tool is very powerful in shaping and defining your existence. You're what you are today because of the choices you made sometime ago. Choice has power, and this power connects with some not-seen  forces or energies that are operating the universe which bring the products of the decision you make.

You focus your energy solely on what you have chosen to do- and what you do is what you become which is attached to the power of choice. To do what you have never done before is to become what you have never been before. The only investment you can make is to make the right choice. Whatever the you choice you make will surely come back to you. If you make the right choice, it is obvious that the result will be a nice and interesting one. And if you do the other way round, the result is as well obvious. People only get distracted by what is within and remain undistracted by what is far from sight. Everybody has this soft loan to make investment with. Only few know how to make the  investment work them. The moment your reasoning is confined, you find it difficult to think out of the box. Most of the heroes and heroines of the past and in the contemporary time made choices that caused their faces to shine and names heard all over the world. I could remember as a child when I used to depend on my family to make decisions for me on virtually everything, but no one would do that for me because I was made to understand what is called the sense of responsibility and accountability. I will be accountable for the cost of my choices. So likewise you.

Everybody has the power of Choice. It is abundant for every entity that is sensitive to this power. Choice making requires proper understanding in knowing the dangers that are associated with wrong choices. Wisdom requires us to know the bearing of our lives through the help of right choice making. If you fail to make the right choice, you won't have what to care for and working towards achieving a goal, purpose or mission will be  impossible and by virtue of this you would be led to believe that anything worth doing is worth doing well. Start making the right decisions and pursue your dreams. It is not what you have not done that makes you who you are but the activities you have got yourself in. The way you think often goes along way in the way you see things and often determines your behavior. The activities you had engaged yourself in were in connection with the choices you made. But let me tell you this; you could be the salt of the world but no one will feel your sweetness if it doesn't  go through some process.  Making a choice is a matter of choice. What level are you on the scale? Try to look critically and deeply into your life can you think of all the choices you made that made a difference in your life?  The change in question could be positive or negative. If there be any, try to find what caused the positivity or negativity in the choices you made. You are what you choose to be because of the honest response to the decisions you make. Many are curious about the future. They employ several means including going diabolical to know what the future holds. Well, John .F. Kennedy once said " The future is not a gift- it is an achievement. Every Generation helps make its own future". This statement has really made it known that the future is not given to you but it is created by you. I want you to know that the future you don't create will actually surprise you. We need to actively create the  future with all asiduity and alacrity . Your future is not a mystery. It is predictable. You do not really need a fortune teller or a prognosticator to tell you what your future looks like. The 'seed' you are planting today are good pointers to the kind of future you will have. What you put in is what you get back. Some people may say that they have been promised a nice future but I tell you you it won't materialize if you do not  work it out.

Remember the Bible says "whatever a man sows, he reaps", therefore, if you make a positive decision and act positively towards the decision made, you will smile when the result comes. The wrong choice  will never get you to the right destination. Same way wrong seed won't give the right fruit. It is solely your responsibility to determine your status in life. Also know that this option was as well given to the first man and woman. And you can tell what their choice has turned into. It is also available for you to use. Use it well. You are the architect of your mistakes, the doctor of your defects and the engineer of your life. Build your life in conclusion under God's control.
